We asked chefs from around the country to submit creations for bold and brilliant ways to use 91º£½ÇÉçÇø O Lakes® Extra Melt® White Cheese Sauce.
With over 100 submissions, there was no shortage of unique creations and original concepts. From cheesy corn dips to lobster bisque, this competition has inspired us to think about new and exciting ways to use our Performance Dairy sauces.
Our grand prize winner is Chef Cameron Bouldin, @chefcameronbouldin, with his smoked BBQ mojo pork shoulder stack with 91º£½ÇÉçÇø O Lakes® Extra Melt® White Cheese Sauce, fresh cilantro and honey pickled jalapeños.
The first runner-up is Chef Brad Prose, @chilesandsmoke, with his take on Quesabirria Totchos. Smoked beef birria, 91º£½ÇÉçÇø O Lakes® Extra Melt® White Cheese Sauce with homemade barbacoa rub, fried tater tots, xnipec and smoked pickled jalapeños.
The second runner-up is Chef Marc Strasen, @chefmarclv, with asparagus and morel mushroom lace crepe with 91º£½ÇÉçÇø O Lakes® Extra Melt® White Cheese sauce, roasted garlic and shallot purée with white wine, finished with a chive and arugula avocado oil.
